SMAC (NSW) PTY LTD TRADING AS SNOWY MOUNTAINS ALPINE COTTAGES BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GST:
Prices quoted include GST.

Deposits:
For winter and value period bookings, a deposit of 50% of total tariff is required within 7 days to secure the booking.
For off peak period bookings, a deposit of 25% of total tariff is required within 7 days to secure the booking.

Balance of Payment:
Full payment is required 1 month prior to arrival date. Failure to attend to payment within the time period could result in cancellation of booking without notice. Dishonoured cheques will incur a fee of $35.00.

Amendments to Bookings:
Amendment of bookings will incur an administration fee of $30.00.

Cancellations:
All cancellations must be notified in writing. Deposits will be refunded, less a cancellation fee of $70.00, if booking is cancelled more than one month prior to commencement of booking. If booking is cancelled less than 1 month prior to commencement of booking, all monies paid will be forfeited.

Refunds:
Refunds are not available after the booking has commenced.

Credit Card Bond:
A credit card bond is required upon check in. This will be applied to all breakages, any damage to building and/or furnishings, removal of furnishings or property belonging to Snowy Mountains Alpine Cottages, loss of keys or accommodation being left in an untidy manner, which will incur additional cleaning fees.

Cottage Capacity:
1 bedroom cottages: Contain a double bed and a set of single bunk beds. These cottages sleep a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.
3 bedroom cottages: Contain a queen bed and 4 single beds. These cottages sleep a maximum of 6 people.

Smoking:
A $200 cleaning fee will be applied if evidence is found of smoking inside the cottages.

Pets:
Under no circumstances are guests allowed to bring pets to the cottages.
If you disregard this condition and pets are found in the cottages you will be requested to vacate the cottage and no refund will be given.
A professional cleaning fee will be charged if there is evidence of animals in the cottage.

Responsibility:
Neither the Company nor anyone on its behalf shall be liable for death, injury, accident, illness, loss/damage of/to personal property (including luggage) or any other circumstances beyond its control.

Travel:
It is recommended that you hold travel insurance to guard against cancellation fees due to ill health, accidents or death. For winter bookings we would highly recommend that travel insurance be taken with snow sports coverage.

Heating:
Each cottage contains a gas heater which is sufficient to heat the whole cottage to a comfortable level. Under no circumstances are additional heaters to be brought into the complex (i.e. fan or electric heaters) as this can interrupt the power supply to the complex.
